How long does custom development take?
It depends on the scope of the tool but here's a realistic picture:
Most single purpose custom utilities such as a job checklist system or daily time and notes logger typically take 15-40 hours to build the first time. As I continue building reusable components, similar projects become significantly faster on future work.
For anything larger or more complex, I always recommend starting with a short discovery phase so I can give a precise time estimate and "not-to-exceed" quote before any major work begins.
I will have a clear timeline upfront so there are no surprises.
What is your development process?
Discovery -> Scope & Quote -> Development sprints (quick deliverables for testing and refinements) -> Delivery + training. We use modular, reusable components when we can so future work becomes faster and more cost-effective.
Do I own the software and my data?
Yes. You receive a perpetual as-is license when the monthly retainer fee pays for the utility or the balance for custom development is paid in full. All tools are fully offline. Your data stays on your machines. We provide a clear End User License Agreement (EULA) and Data Processing Agreement.
What legal protections are in place?
Every engagement includes proper Michigan-aligned agreements covering ownership, liability limitations, data handling, and support terms. We route all legal language through qualified review.

Yes. All TradeToolkit utilities are designed to run 100% locally with no internet connection required after installation. This is a core principle of everything we build.
What happens after delivery? Do you offer support?
